WXGA-TV PBS Waycross/Valdosta - United States Television
WXGA-TV is a full service television station in Waycross, Georgia, broadcasting on digital VHF channel 8 and virtual channel 8. Founded in 1961, it is owned by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB) and branded GPB. WXGA is a member station for PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to national PBS programming, WXGA airs GPB produced programs on public affairs, outdoors and travel, and gardening. WXGA’s channel is multiplexed, with three subchannels. GPB and PBS programming in high definition is on 8.1; PBS Kids is broadcasted 8.2, and GPB Knowledge is shown on 8.3, with shows from PBS World and GPB produced programs.
