WXEL-TV PBS West Palm Beach - United States Television
WXEL-TV is a full service television station in West Palm Beach, Florida, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 27 and virtual channel 42. Founded in 1980 as WWPF, it is owned by Barry University. WXEL is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WXEL airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. WXEL is a multiplexed channel, with four subchannels. WXEL and PBS programming in high definition is carried on 42.1 and 42.2; V-me is carried on 42.3, with Spanish-language PBS programs, and on 42.4 is the Florida Channel, featuring the people, places, history and culture of Florida.
