WUNU-TV PBS Lumberton - United States Television
WUNU-TV is a full service television station in Lumberton, North Carolina, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 31 and virtual channel 31. Founded in 1996, it is owned by University of North Carolina (UNC). It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service.) In addition to its national PBS programming, WUNU airs UNC-TV produced programs with information on North Carolina public affairs, culture, history and outdoor sports. WUNU is a multiplexed channel. On channel 31.1 is UNC-TV and PBS programming; on 31.2 is UNC-KD, with PBS Kids, showing educational programming for children, and 31.3 carries UNC-EX, The Explorer Channel, with travel and outdoor sports information.
