WRXY-TV CTN Punta Gorda - United States Television
WRXY-TV is a full service television station in Tice, Florida , broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 33 to the Fort Myers, Florida area. Founded in 1995, it is owned and operated by the Christian Television Network (CTN), which produces and airs its own inspirational programming. CTN was founded in 1979 in Florida by Bob D’Andrea to use local television stations to spread the Christian gospel and provide community outreach for inspiration and help for needy families. WRXY started broadcasting from a local community’s barn, sharing the Christian inspirational message in Southwest Florida. Since its inception, WRXY and CTN’s main goals has been to work with local churches to provide food, clothing, shelter, and financial assistance for needy families.
