WRMD-CD Telemundo Tampa - United States Television
WRMD-CD is a low-power Class A television station in Tampa, Florida, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 49. Founded in 1987 as W57BA as channel 57, it is owned by ZGS Communications. It is an affiliate of Telemundo, an American television network with original programming, including telenovelas and news broadcasts in Spanish. In addition to its Telemundo programs, WRMD airs its own newscasts, weather information and some locally produced shows about the Tampa area. It changed to its current call sign in 1994, changed its channel number in the early 2000s, and it was previously affiliated with Channel America.
