WNIT is a full service television station in South Bend, Indiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 35 and virtual channel 34 to the South Bend, Indiana/Benton Harbor, Michigan area. Founded in 1980, it is owned by Michiana Public Broadcasting Corporation and branded as WNIT Public Television. WNIT is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service.) In addition to its PBS programming, WNIT airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education.
