WLPB-DT PBS Baton Rouge - United States Television
WLPB-TV is a full service television station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 25 and virtual channel 27 and branded as LPB (Louisiana Public Broadcasting). Founded in 1975, it is owned by the Louisiana Educational Television Authority. It was the first member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) in Louisiana. In addition to its national PBS programming, WLPB airs LPB produced programs about Louisiana public affairs, culture, history and education. WLPB’s signal is multiplexed, with three subchannels. LPB and PBS programming airs on LPB-HD 27.1; on 27.2 is LPB2, showing LPB and PBS primetime during the day and PBS Kids at night, and on 27.3 is LPB3, with PBS Create’s lifestyle and “how-to” programs.
