WLKY-TV is a full service television station in Louisville, Kentucky, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 26 and on virtual channel 32. Founded in 1961, it is owned by Hearst Television, Inc. WLKY-TV is affiliated with CBS, airing CBS’s primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station airs CBS’s morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs CBS’s soap operas; in the early evening, it shows CBS’s national news broadcast and local newscasts. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by CBS’s late-night programming. WLKY-TV also airs local sports broadcasts. WLKY’s channel is multiplexed, with two subchannels. Channel 32.1 airs WLKY and CBS programs; 32.2 broadcasts Me-TV, with classic television sitcoms, dramas and classic commercials from the 1950s through the 1980s. WLKY was previously affiliated with ABC from 1961 until 2009.
