WKLE-TV PBS Lexington - United States Television
WKLE-TV is a full service television station in Lexington, Kentucky broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 42. It is a PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) station, opened on September 23, 1968. WKLE is part of the network of Kentucky public television stations of the Kentucky Educational Television Network (KET). KET is Kentucky’s statewide educational television network, providing the Commonwealth with high-quality locally produced programming and classroom services. Since 1968, KET has delivered instructional videos and tools, acclaimed PBS series and specials, as well as outstanding children’s programming to citizens, and now serves the state via digital and high-definition broadcast technology.
