WJTC is a full service television station in Pensacola, Florida, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 45. Founded in 1984 on analog channel 44, it is owned by Newport Television, LLC. WJTC is an independent station. It broadcasts local newscasts, syndicated programming and syndicated television shows. WJTC was previously affiliated with UPN from 1995 until 2006. Before and after those dates, it was an independent station.
