WJCT is a full service television station in Jacksonville, Florida, broadcasting on local digital VHF channel 7 and virtual channel 7. Founded in 1958, it is owned by WJCT, Inc. WJCT is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WJCT airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. WJCT is a multiplexed channel, with five subchannels. WJCT and PBS programming is carried on 7.1; on 7.2 is Create, with how-to and lifestyle programs; PBS World is carried on 7.3, with news and information, and on 7.4 is WJCT More!, featuring replays of PBS programs, and 7.5 carries Florida Knowledge Network, with the Florida Channel, featuring the people, places, history, public affairs and culture of Florida.
