WIPB-TV PBS Indianapolis - United States Television
WIPB is a full service television station in Muncie, Indiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 23 and virtual channel 49. Founded in 1971, it is owned by Ball State University. WIPB is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WIPB airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. WIPB is a multiplexed channel, with three subchannels. WIPB and PBS programming is carried on 49.1; on 49.2 is Create, with how-to programs and information, and 24 Hour Weather is carried on 49.3.
