WICZ is a full service television station in Binghamton, New York, broadcasting on local digital VHF channel 8 and on virtual channel 40. Founded in 1957 as WINR-TV, it is owned by Stainless Broadcasting Company. WICZ is affiliated with the FOX Network, airing FOX’s primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station has its own morning news and information program, in the afternoon, it airs nationally syndicated talk shows and reality programs, in the early evening, it shows FOX reruns. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts. WICZ also airs local sports broadcasts.
