WHUT-TV PBS Washington - United States Television
WHUT-TV is a full service television station in Washington, D.C., broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 33 and virtual channel 32. Founded in 1980 as WHMM-TV, it is owned by Howard University. WHUT is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WHUT airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. WHUT is a multiplexed channel, with two subchannels. WHUT and PBS programming in high definition is carried on 32.1, and on 32.2 is WHUT and PBS programming in standard definition.
