WHMB-TV is a full-service television channel in Indianapolis, Indiana, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 16) and virtual channel 40. Founded in 1971, it is owned and operated by LeSEA Broadcasting, also known as World Harvest Broadcasting, an organization founded by Assembly of God minister Lester Sumrall and dedicated to the Christian religion and feeding hungry people in Third World countries. WHMB-TV’s channel is multiplexed, with its primary programming on 40.1 and on 40.2 is World Harvest Television, a different LeSEA network.
