WHIQ-DT PBS Huntsville - United States Television
WHIQ is a full service television station in Huntsville, Alabama, broadcasting on local digital channel 24 and virtual channel 25. Founded in 1965, it is owned by Alabama Educational Television Commission and branded as APT. It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its national PBS programming, WHIQ airs locally produced programs with information concerning Alabama public affairs, culture, history and education. WHIQ’s channel is multiplexed, with APT and PBS programming on 25.1; on 25.2 is APT IQ, the Family Learning Channel, and on 25.3 is APT-Create, with programs about do-it-yourself and travel information.
