WFSG is a full service television station in Panama City, Florida, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 38 and virtual channel 56 to the Tallahassee / Thomasville, Florida area. Founded in 1960, it is owned by Florida State University. WFSG is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WFSG airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. WFSG is a multiplexed channel, with three subchannels. WFSG and PBS programming is carried on 56.1; on 56.2 is The Florida Channel, featuring the public affairs, people, places, history and culture of Florida, and Create is carried on 56.3, with how-to and lifestyle programs.
