WEDH-TV PBS Hartford - United States Television
WEDH is a full service television station in Hartford, Connecticut, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 45 and virtual channel 24. Founded in 1962, it is owned by Connecticut Public Broadcasting, Inc. (CPBN) and branded as CPTV. It is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, WEDH airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education. CPTV also broadcasts the University of Connecticut’s women’s basketball games. WEDH’s channel is multiplexed, with CPBN and PBS programming on 24.1; on 24.2 is CPTV4U, with PBS Encore, and on 24.3 is Create, with programs about do-it-yourself information.
