WAPK-CA is a low-power Class A television station in Kingsport, Tennessee, broadcasting on local analog UHF channel 36 and digital channel 19.2 as a subchannel of WKPT to the Kingsport – Johnson City – Bristol, Tennessee / Bristol, Virginia area. Founded in 1989, it owned by Holston Valley Broadcasting Corporation. It is an affiliate of MyNetworkTV, referred to as “My Network,” a television broadcast syndication service owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, featuring repeat episodes of other networks highly rated television shows as a syndication programming service for primetime only. In addition to its MyNetwork programs, WAPK airs national syndicated programs, television series replays and, overnight, Jewelry TV, a shop-at-home service.
