WAOH-LP RTV Akron - United States Television
WAOH-LP is a low-power television station in Akron, Ohio broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 29. Founded in 1987, it owned by Media-Com, Inc. It is an affiliate of the Retro Television Network (RTV) is a system of television stations that airs classic television shows as well as more recently produced programs. It is owned by Luken Communications, LLC. RetroTV went on the air in July 2005 in Little Rock, Arkansas. RTV programming is a round-the-clock schedule of shows dating from the 1950s along with rarely seen older programming and more recently-produced programming, such as “Cold Squad,” “Da Vinci’s Inquest” as well as reality and documentary programming, including reruns of “Cold Case Files.” RTV also features a Saturday morning block of vintage cartoon programming. WAOH was previously affiliated with Network One and America One. In addition to the RTN programming, WAOH has a few locally produced programs, including “Son of Ghoul,” a horror movie program with host Keven Scarpino.
