WACS-TV PBS Dawson/Americus - United States Television

WACS-TV is a full service television station in Dawson, Georgia, brodcasting on VHF channel 8 and virtual channel 25. Founded in 1967, it is owned by Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB). It is a member station for PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to national PBS programming, WACS airs GPB produced programs on public affairs, outdoors and travel, and gardening. WACS’s channel is multiplexed, with GPB and PBS programming in HD on 25.1, PBS Kids on 25.2 and GPB Knowledge on 25.3, with shows from PBS World and GPB produced programs.
