Summit is owned by the African Business Channel (ABC), the radio and TV wing of BDFM Media (publisher of Business Day and the Financial Mail). This channel follows a CNN-style format, with key material updated and refreshed hourly from 6pm-11pm, Monday to Friday. These segments are The News (6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm), the Market Report (7.10pm 8.10pm, 9.10pm 10.10pm), Face-to-Face (7.23pm 8.23pm etc) and Company News (7.15pm, 8.15pm and so on).
