KVIQ CBS Eureka - United States Television
KVIQ is a full service television station in Eureka, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 17. Founded in 1958, it is owned by CBS Television Network. KVIQ is affiliated with CBS, airing CBS’s primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station airs CBS’s morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs CBS’s soap operas; in the early evening, it shows CBS’s national news broadcast and Action News 6. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by CBS’s late-night programming. KVIQ also airs local sports broadcasts.
