KUID-TV PBS Moscow - United States Television
KUID-TV is a full service television station in Moscow, Idaho, broadcasting on local digital VHF channel 12 and virtual channel 12. Founded in 1965, it is owned by Idaho State Board of Education, with the stations branded as IdahoPTV. KUID-TV is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). KUID-TV’s studio and office facilities are located on the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, involving students with production and learning the day-to-day procedures of a television station. In addition to its national PBS programming, KUID-TV has programs about local public affairs, outdoor life and conservation, educational information and documentaries. KUID-TV’s channel is multiplexed, with four subchannels. On 12.1 is the main IdahoPTV and PBS programming; on 12.2 is IdahoPTV PLUS, with programming covering the best that PBS offers in science, entertainment and education programs; on 12.3 is Create, with how-to shows and information, and on 12.4 is World, with news and information. KUID-TV was the first educational television station in Idaho.
