KKFX-TV FOX San Luis Obispo - United States Television
KKPX-TV is a full service television station in San Jose, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 41 and virtual channel 65. Founded in 1986 as KLXV-TV, it is owned by Ion Media Networks, Inc.. It is an affiliate of ION, featuring a broad mix of popular television series, theatrical and made-for-television movies, specials and sports. KKPX’s channel has three subchannels, all with ION programming. On 65.1 is ION’s basic programming; On 65.2 is qubo, ION’s children’s television specialty channel, broadcasting in English and Spanish, and on 65.3 is ION Life, airing lifestyle programming during the day, and movies in the evening. KKPX was an independent station from 1986 until 1995. It was affiliated with inTV, Pax TV and i before they became Ion Television. The station used the call sign KLXV-TV from 1986 until 1997.
