KIXE-TV is a full service television station in Redding, California, broadcasting on local digital VHF channel 9 and virtual channel 9. Founded in 1964, it is owned by Northern California Educational Television Association, Inc. KIXE is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). In addition to its PBS programming, KIXE airs locally produced programs with information concerning local interest, culture, history and education.
