KISU-TV PBS Pocatello - United States Television
KISU-TV is a full service television station in Pocatello, Idaho, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 17 and virtual channel 10. Founded in 1971, it is owned by Idaho State Board of Education, with the stations branded as IdahoPTV. KISU-TV is a member station of PBS (Public Broadcasting Service). KISU-TV’s studio and office facilities are located on the Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho, involving students with production and learning the day-to-day procedures of a television station. In addition to its national PBS programming, KISU-TV has programs about local public affairs, outdoor life and conservation, educational information and documentaries. KISU-TV’s channel is multiplexed, with four subchannels. On 10.1 is the main IdahoPTV and PBS programming; on 10.2 is IdahoPTV PLUS, with programming covering the best that PBS offers in science, entertainment and education programs; on 10.3 is Create, with how-to shows and information, and on 10.4 is World, with news and information.
