KFRE-TV is a full service television station in Sanger, California , broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 36 and virtual channel 59 to the Fresno / Vasalia area. Founded in 1984, it is owned by New World TV Group and branded KFRE CW 59. KFRE is an affiliate of The CW (The CW Television Network) which features on a mixture of programming mostly targeted towards women and young adults. KFRE’s channel is multiplexed, with three subchannels. Channel 59.1 airs KFRE CW 59; 59.2 broadcasts Estrella TV, featuring Spanish-language original programming including musical-variety, comedy, scripted drama, talk and game shows; 59.3 shows Pegasus TV, with programs and information about horses.
