KDLH is a full service television station in Duluth, Minnesota, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 33 and on virtual channel 3, and available on digital subchannel 11.3 from KRII, in the Chisholm/Hibbing, Minnesota area. Founded in 1954 as KDAL-TV, it is owned by Malara Broadcast Group. KDLH is affiliated with CBS, airing CBS’s primetime shows in the evening. In the morning, the station airs CBS’s morning news and information program, with spots for local news and weather; in the afternoon, it airs CBS’s soap operas; in the early evening, it shows CBS’s national news broadcast and local newscasts. After primetime, it airs its own local newscasts, followed by CBS’s late-night programming. KDLH also airs local sports broadcasts. KDLH’s channel is multiplexed, with two subchannels. Channel 3.1 airs KDLH and CBS programs; 3.2 airs The CWPlus. As KDAL-TV, the station was affiliated with NBC from 1954 until 1955, when it affiliated with CBS, and it showed programs from ABC from 1954 until 1966 as a secondary affiliate. It changed its call sign to KDLH in 1979.
