KBCW is a full service television station in San Francisco, California, broadcasting on local digital UHF channel 45. Founded in 1968, it owned by CBS Corporation. It is an affiliate of The CW (The CW Television Network) which features on a mixture of programming mostly targeted towards women and young adults. From 1995 until 2006, KBCW was an owned-and-operated station of United Paramount Network (UPN). Before 1995, the station was an independent station. Channel 44 used the call letters KBHK-TV from its inception in 1968 until 2006.
